The SOD is the sole source of OTS branch information derived from the annually collected Branch Office Survey.

The Summary of Deposits (SOD) contains deposit data for more than
89,000 branches/offices of FDIC-insured institutions. The Federal Deposit Insurance
Corporation (FDIC) collects deposit balances for commercial and savings banks as of June 30 of
each year, and the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) collects the same data for savings
institutions. Data are collected annually. Users can access data
by: (1) single institution, (2) institutions within a geographic area, or (3)
aggregated within a geographic area. Features include custom market share reports and downloads.

Provides several options for selecting branch/office deposit data by institution or by
geographic location.

Deposit Market Share - Pro Forma HHI Report
Provides deposit data and market share of deposit balances for each institution or
bank holding company within a selected geographic area.

Summary Tables
Provides deposit data by selected aggregations: (1) National Summary Tables by
(a) charter class and (b) asset size; (2) Regional Summary Tables by Metropolitan Statistical
Area (MSA); and (3) Individual State Tables by (a) county and (b) charter class.

Download
Provides a mechanism for users to download selected bank holding company, institution and branch/office data into a
comma separated variable (CSV) file that can be imported into an EXCEL spreadsheet
and/or used in a database program.

Provides a direct link to the FDIC's Institution Directory (ID) system. This system
provides financial and demographic information for all FDIC-insured institutions.
