The Custom Peer function of the UBPR website allows users to compare one bank against a user-defined custom peer group. Individual bank data, recalculated peer group averages and percentile rankings are compared for all summary ratios on page one of the UBPR. Recalculated peer group information is designed to supplement the existing peer group information available in the UBPR. Users should be aware that custom peer groups may include up to 200 banks. This limit is necessary to permit efficient calculations of averages. If a peer group is composed of fewer than 10 banks, please review the results closely because outliers can influence peer averages of small groups.
